now that is a rear event, you dont want one of those anywhere near you. it certainly looks real to me. that guy must be really passionate about either the octopuss or death.:lol:
 
Looks too small to do any damage. Plus the angle of the camera makes you think it is bigger than it really is.
 
I remember seeing these on animal planet a while back. They showed of dramitization of a guy stepping on one, then falling to the ground and slowly dying. My guess is that the octupus is dead, because anybody holding a live one would have been stung immediately and would be paralyzed in a matter of seconds.

either that, or its a photoshop.
