BN in a Fluval Edge

I just got back from a fish swap and my girlfriend picked out a calico long fin BN pleco. It's still tiny and a baby. She also has been eyeing a fluval edge and hinting to me since her birthday is in a week. She refuses to get a larger thank and only wants the fluval edge. She wants the pleco to go in the edge. I looked on aqua advisor and they said 15 gallons minimum for a BN pleco. But I wanted to make sure on here. Would the fluval edge be to small for a bn pleco. I do 50% weekly water changes anyway. I think I already know the answer but I guess it's worth a try. She is really depressed because she loves the fish and wants it in a tank of her own.

At only 6 gallons...I would say no.

I would have to agree with Pappy. I too wanted an edge until, that is, I saw the design in person.

Perfect size for an invert tank, or even something like a betta.

15 gallons even is too small in my opinion, I'd say minimum of 20 gallon. I agree with jpap though, inverts or betta would be nice.

We have a eclipse 3 that already has red cherry shrimp in it. We were thinking of putting them in the fluval and a betta in the 3. I was thinking along with the shrimp some small fish like a cardinal tetras, or celestrial pearl dano's or some other micro/nano fish.
