BN Pl*co- strange behavior?

I often find my pl*co on his back under the driftwood... like he was attached to the driftwood, happily sucking along- and then fell asleep and just fell off the driftwood. His mouth is still doing the sucking thing-- he's just doing it on his back... not attached to anything. Is that normal?

As soon as I tap on the glass or turn the light off- and then on again, he perks right up and either gets back on the driftwood or goes into his cave to hide. (He's always been a bit shy).

I feel him steamed (and cooled) zucchini and cucumber. He usually polishes it off- skin and all within 24-36 hrs. And I give him another one as soon as I see the previous one is gone.

Should I be concerned?

Thanks,
Marty

I'm sorry.. i don't understand what you are talking about.. .you must mean a Pleco? or Plecostomus?

lol... i would call that normal, it sounds like he's just falling asleep on his favorite dish. no worries.

my plecos do that too. bn's, rubberlip, royal, clowns. totally normal.
