Congrats! I was reading an article on plecos today and they stated that plecos wouldn't breed in the average aquarium, that they needed special conditions; a place to tunnel for breeding, wow, you proved them wrong!
I was doing some research online on plecostumus care to see what I should feed my new plecostumus. I am not sure where I got the info, because I looked at quite a few places, but I know they said it was unlikely to happen in the average aquarium. I raise african rift lake cichlids, and when they have their young, they are mouth brooders. What about plecostumus, are they subtrate spawners?
