I have a 75 gallon tub that has a few convicts in it and was thinking how pretty a bog plant or two would look growing out of it. The tub is located on the floor right beside a window so that the plant will receive decent lighting. Been doing some looking and ran across cannas. I really like them but an usnure if they will work, will they? What are some other bog plants that can be grown in this type of setting. Remember I want something that will get some height.

Take a look at this place, they have some very nice items geared more to yard ponds but sound like they would suit your tub. Heck they even sell papyrus, so if civilization collapses you will at least be able to make your own paper and reestablish society. :)

Make sure it's a water canna. Regular ones will work if they are sprouted and growing before putting them in water. Not too deep either or they will rot.
Giant papyrus will give you height and it's hard to kill. Red stemmed Thalia will too and has pretty dangling lavender flowers when mature. Smaller options, Pickeral, Silk Stockings Arrowhead, Water Iris.
