Well, I'm looking to get some Bolivian Rams for my 55 Gal and was wondering if 3 pair would be too many or should I limit it to 2 pair in the 55 and one pair in my 25 Tall?

Safer to go with 2 pair in the 55 so they can take opposite sides of the tank. On ordinary days 3 pair would work fine, but during spawning times there might be lots of trouble.
It sounds like you will be getting them all at the same time? If so and you purchase them all together, put them all in the 55, let them pair up and see what happens - keep the 25g ready to go in case of trouble...
Just my thoughts...

2 pair. that's limit. watch them--maybe only one. How are you lining up already paired bolivians?

They're not paired up yet. getting 6 and they're not quite sexable yet but hoping I can get a couple pairs out of them. I'll prolly put all 6 in the 55 and see what they do. If I get lucky & get 3 pairs, then one pair will be moved to the 25 Gal.
