Bolivian rams, ??

I do not have plants, just fake, I did a test today again, no amonia, and just a trace of nitrate. there doing good, the firemouth is being a pain but all seems well. I do hope the fire mouth settles down, but if not he will go back to the fish store. the problem in this town is there is no fish we can choose from, the store is so small, and he does not order often enough. so we are stuck with poor choices.

How long has the tank been set up? and did you cycle it?

The firemouth is not going to "settle down" he will have to go back to the LFS or your other fish will be harrassed to death. Or you could always get another tank for it... :)

And see if you can find out what kind of suckerfish you have, because there are many (like CAE) that will not work out.

Angels with Bolivian rams will be fine.

I would suggest you get driftwood in the tank.

the bolivian rams like the tangle of wood..I have some in a 29 with angels and a 75 with angels. both tanks have tangles of driftwood..the rams seek shelter there. I also utilize plenty of cover including plants(live ot fake)
the biggest problem you will have is feeding..the angels will feed more agressively than the rams. in this case you will need to feed in two locations..feed flake to the angels and sinking pellets to the rams.

spawning angles won't bother the rams much..the rams are pretty quick and will hide in the driftwood.

I am not so sure that rams need high temperatures to thrive, my tank is always between 78-80 degrees (when it gets really cold here the temperature in the tank can fluctuate by a degree or two), and my ram is doing quite well.
