I have bought a copy of 'Guide to the tropical Aquarium' by **** Mills from my local bookstore. I've read it but I'm still wanting to know more about tanks and equipment can anyone recommend any books that cover aquariums and aquarium equipment in more depth?

I want to know about freshwater and marine set-ups too and about things like sumps, overflow tanks, protein skimmers etc... As I am still reading about equipment on these forums that I have no idea about what it is and what its used for. As you've probably noticed I'm the type of person that likes to know as much as possible about a hobby or subject!

I've bought a book on aquarium fish species (Aquarium Fish Handbook) so I'm just asking about info on tank equipment and set-ups really.

Cheers!

Check the Archives for both Freshwater and Marine--there is a thread in each that lists a number of good books on different systems.

My favorite book..any that I can get my hands on..theres no one book thats the best. Get as many as you can afford and glean glean glean. When I had my fish room and was heavy into breeding I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 books and about 150 magazines. They were all very well used.
