My fiance and I are working on setting up a 40 gal FOWLR tank. Last year she bought a fully functional tank with fish and live rock from a guy who was moving out of state. She did her research and was able to keep that tank running for several months. However, it started to go downhill several months ago and she lost all the fish except one. This discouraged her a lot and she basically let the tank go. Last week we found that the 29 gallon had a slow leak and we needed to deal with it. We both decided to go get another tank and try it over again, rather than just getting rid of it. Now that I'm living with her, I'd like to give her a handin maintaining it, but my experience has only been with freshwater so far.
I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on some good books to read for starting a saltwater tank. I've read the forums here and they are excellent, but I'd also like something tangible that I can hold in my hands and read. Thanks for the help
