Borelli/Gourami

I'm happy with how my 15 gal looks right now... almost.

The Borelli pair stays mainly at the bottom, the Harlequin Rasboras stay at the mid-level.

I was thinking that a small Gourami would probably stay mainly at the top and complete the set-up.

What do you think?

I would just leave the tank as is. A Gourami would swim all over the tank and get harassed by the Borelli especially if the Borelli spawn.

So it is adequatly stocked as it is? If Gouramis behave like the Paradise Fish at all, then for sure they go to the bottom...

I did not think I would get 3 levels in a 15 gal, but there is really little happening at the top...

Nothing could fill up that space, not any top level loner?

You could use hatchetfish since they are always in the upper third of the tank. 4 to 5 should be enough without overstocking your tank.
