Pets Unlimited here is advertising that they will soon carry Borneo & Butterfly Sucker fish. They do not nor will they carry Otos. Will either of these fish stand in well for Otos to help with algae reduction?

I dont think so. Isnt a borneo sucker actually a loache?

edit- It is

They're not great algae eaters, they don't actually have a sucker mouth but create suction via their belly and fused pelvic fins, they're from fast flowing rivers of south-east asia and generally prefer slightly cooler conditions than most tropicals as well as high disolved oxygen levels and pristine water quality.

If you're looking for an algae eater, bristle nose cats (Ancistrus sp.) are one of the best alternatives to an Otocinclus sp.

Thanks!
