Bo's BC29 build thread thingy

All my corals are under the stock BioCube lights i believe they are 55 or 65w PC bulbs so the lights arent the greatest there are 2 of them one is Actinic the other is 10,000k daylight bulb

I would ideally like to go with LED's but thats a long way off, i will most likely go with a T-5 retrofit kit, which should increase the lighting a good bit

thanks for the kind words!

went to pick up a 250w MH for my 58g and now the BC29 will get the 150w MH set up, also the guy gave me a torch frag(with 2 heads) and some xenia looking frags. Also got a Red Lipped Blenny, will take pics once hes settled in

That was quick with the lighting. What fixture(s)?

Used PFO 250w HQI with a pendant, helps when things are cheap ;) so now the coralife 150w HQI is going to go on the BC29 once i get a new bulb for it

I am unsure where to put the torch so i just put it there, if you have any advice on placement help me out

Looking really good dude!

The torch can go just about anywhere. They just don't like direct flow.

is that a kenya tree i see in the blenny pics?

keep that sucker far away from your other corals if it is.

We took ours back to the LFS. Semi aggressive is one thing but the one we had was stretching as far as it could trying to find other corals to sting.

The guy at the LFS said that was odd that he had never seen that kind of behavior from one before.

Maybe we just got lucky and got a psychotic one who knows.

that is kenya tree, and its been peaceful so far ill keep an eye on it thanks!

the tank is really packed with corals right now, waiting to order some rock for my 58g, get that cycled and set up and move some frags over
