Bottom feeder limit?

I know I must quit adding fish someday, but it's so hard to STOP!!! :sad

I've got a good beard algae crop going in my 50-gal tank (on about 4-5 crypts), as well as a whole LOT of baby snails. I'd like to add a couple of small loaches and maybe 3 otos, but I'm afraid it might make things just a little too crowded (see list of fish already in residence, below).

Any input welcomed! :idea2: Also note that the 10-gal is available and cycled for a small number of fish.

Is the beard algae green? Or are you talking about brush algae?

Well, I'm new to algae, but it came with the plants that came with the tank set-up, and from any pictures I could find, it looks like beard algae to me. Yes, it's green. Shall I try to send a picture? Why do you ask?
