can any one please tell me the correct name for this bottom feeder.. its the only picture i could get as its very shy and wont come out if anyone is observing the tank.. thanks.. colin.

Hey take a look at this.. found it on google.... a pair of synodontis spawning.. but the other cichlids look to be eating all the eggs etc... cool video though..wmv..

He is about 3-4 inches... but he appears to have bigger (whiskers) than the syno i found on google... but im sure youre right he is from that family.. take a look at the video i posted further down the thread... thanks for you help..
