or angelicus botia if you want an even more color. they pretty much the same care wise

What ever bottom feeder you get they don't survive well on scraps alone. Also get some sinking tablets and drop some in every other day or so to make sure they get a good diet. And if too much of your food is makign it to the bottom right now then I would think about first cutting back on the flakes you add. I never see my fish let flakes hit the bottom. And my cories love sinking tablets and algae tabs. Great fellows, I have 7 in my 29 gallon.

hmm... well a loach would probably be a more aesthetically pleasing fish in general, but i think cory cats have such great personalities, that i would prefer to have them. i have an albino and two skunks in my ten right now... they are so fun to watch!

corys are nice, but i prefer plecos and loaches. i have 4 dojo loaches in my african clawed frog tank and they are awesome. i also have 3 6-8" plecos in myu assorted tanks. i dont know if i suggest plecos so much because they tand to get big and lazy. clown loaches are nice for a 29g.

one fish i have i dont know the common name but the scientific name is, Siphodius Emperious. its a dark spotted cat that only gets about 8" tops. mine leads the bottom feeders in my 26g(2 clown loaches, 2 spotted cory cats, 2 green cory cats).

50g:
2 african clawed frogs
4 dojo loaches
1 Lrg Gold fish
1 kind pink kissing gourami
38g:
3 black cons (breeding)
1 jack dempsy
1 7" pleco
1 zebra (ice-blue i think)
26g:
bottom feeders
2 small bala sharks
1 gold tin foil barb
2 gourami (Blue and paradice)
1 Lrg snail(garry)
10g:
breeding dalmation mollies (2)
1 green cory cat
1 rubberlipped pleco
1 beta
5g:
40 dalmation fry

Clown loaches can grow to be 1' long over time.

Why doesn't anyone like upside-down catfish? :(

I would have to agree with the several people that mentioned cory cats. A small school of those add lots of entertainment to your tank. They are very active and tend to hang out together. Also, if you watch them closely you will see them blink their eyes. It is kind of comical. Here is link to site that is dedicated to cory cats. http://w.webring.com/hub?ring=corydoras

There are so many varities to choose from: dwarf, albino, you name it. I think the favorite to many is the Sterba's... the only problem is they are a lot more expesive than most cory cats. They are definitely worth it though.

Good luck with yor decesion, be sure to check back with us when you make your decesion.
