Shy little guys, about 2-1/2 inches long. I had to turn my cave over to make sure one was in it because I hadn't seen him in a day (bought on Saturday). I'll be putting their driftwood in tomorrow. Excited to see how they do.
Bought 2 Bristlenose plecos.

My camera has trouble focusing beyond the glass. I'm still trying to figure out how to manually focus. It is a work in progress.
I've found that BN plecs become a little more sociable if they have driftwood to much on, dunno why but I always see my BN out and about, its my rubberlip who i have a hard time keeping track of.
Try shutting off auto focus or using a preset setting like "closeup, landscape...etc."
Well, everything is going fine. One pleco has claimed a spot under the driftwood and will only let one of my sunset platies to enter or even come near him. Still no luck getting them to eat anything other than algae waffers or the glass algae.
if you have a button that looks like a small flower, that is for your macro setting. use it for close up shots. when your camera is on, press the button, on the lcd screen, you should be able to see the little flower. that lets you know that the macro (or close up) setting is on
Finally got it figured out. I can't zoom when I am doing a micro picture with my camera. So I just have to hope they get close enough and that I can get close to them. It isn't to hard since by BN plecs aren't to shy.
