From what I know glass fish are schooling fish so you have to keep at least 5 together and there is no way that is going to happen in a bowl, unless it was 10 gallons and shaped like a rectangle and had a filter and a heater. They are tropical fish so they need their water warm.
I wouldn't place anything in such a small container. Here is a link to information about fish bowls and why you shouldn't use them as a home for fish...
Actually, warm water contains fewer dissolved gases than cool water, whereas cool water contains fewer dissolved solids than warm water. Ever notice how warm soda goes flat sooner than cold soda? Same principle in action.
I must admit, out of embarrassment I almost said "thanks for helping". But I gotta tell you, a friend of mine who already noticed that misplacement of words told me about that mistake and I told her I'd fix it.
I did mean to say that cooler water holds more oxygen, that is why goldfish like coolor temps and that is why it is often times recommended that you place an airstone in the tank in the summer time as a last resort if your water is warm. My bad.
Omg! I didn't realize that the link was from *your* site! I would have been a little more sensitive had I realized this, but luckily it wasn't necessary. Glad that everything's cool, though.
(Get it? *Cool*? Because we're talking about cool water fish... Lol, I amuse myself easily)
hehe...I wouldn't expect any less from you or anyone else serious about the hobby. I tell people (politely as you did) when things are off or if I think something should be stated differently and I expect the same about criticism for my own site.
I just feel bad because my friend who is probably reading this now has told me to fix that twisted up sentence.
