I have a breeding group of 3.3 Ancistrus in a 30gal tank, that have been spawning pretty successfully. I was thinking about trying to get a group of Panaque maccus, to try and breed them as well. It looks like there wouldn't be a problem breeding these two in the same tank as long as I add in some more driftwood and a whole lot of different caves. Just wondering if anyone has tried this before? The tank seems relatively small for 12 plecos, but its on a larger system so the total volume is about 400gal with a big wet/dry, and with enough caves I don't think territory will be an issue.
