Breeding Blue Ramshorns

I've run into some pictures of blue ramshorns and they look gorgeous to me. Has anyone had any experience breeding blue rams from the typical brown ones? Currently I have a mixture of red and brown bodies and some with leopard shells. I know I've seen a picture of southerndesert's blue rams and there are some available on aquabid, but I wanted to try my hand at inline breeding. Does anyone have any advice as far as methods or things to watch out for?

I'm hoping for something more efficient than selectively breeding tons of snails hoping for a random genetic color morph

from what I have heard they do not bred completely true but mostly....

They breed mostly true although some have a little red in them. They are a work in progress. I got them from another breeder.

I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of your blue rams, although unfortunately I can't buy any as I live in Australia
