What happens when crossing various BN plecos?

My first question is crossing an albino with a common/standard BN. Do all the offspring appear like the standard, but carry the gene to produce albino offspring?

How about crossing a standard with a calico variety(or "super red")?

I have both reg. brown and calico varieties breeding together. They are producing mostly calicos, some brown, and even got a couple albinos out of them. Crossing with an albino should produce a mix of both reg brown and albino. I read somewhere that even though they have an albino parent, they don't always get the gene to produce albinos. So some reg. will have the albino gene, some will be albinos, and some regular ones will not have the albino gene and only produce regular colors. Not sure exactly how that works.

So what happens with a short-fin/long-fin cross? Is one trait completely dominant or do you get a mix in the offspring?
I get a mix of LF and SF.
