When my m.snails were in my betta tank, they laid eggs a few times. I tossed them all at the time because I didn't want them. That tank was kept at about 80-82 deg.
I now have a 29G tank that's just white clouds, brigs, and bamboo shrimp. They've been having 'business time' allllll day long. This tank is kept at 74ish deg. Is that too cold for them to lay eggs? I really WANT them to breed now, and I don't know what to do to encourage it. I dropped the water level 2", but do I need to increase the temp too? Can the white clouds handle a higher temp? 80's pretty high for a coldwater fish. What should I do?
