I want to know how and if its easy to breed Albino Corys, i have 6 at the moment basically on there own, apart from one angel in there, what can i do to make the chances of these breeding more likely?

They may lay eggs but the angel will make short work of that. They need to be in a species only tank, and assuming you have males and females feed them high quality live or frozen food for a few days then do a large water change that reduces the tank temp by 5 degree F or more. This generally makes them start to spawn. I have never had a successful hatching but mine lay eggs this way all the time.

i have 9 in a 55g community tank and have not ever had a spawn - i've heard the cories have to be in good shape and NOT have dull or shortened whiskers -i guess cories with damaged whiskers will not breed for some reason, but as stated in tha bove post a large water change with cooler water is suppose to help begin the spawn

Pick out one fat female and about 3 males and put them in their own bare 10 gallon tank. Feed lots of meaty foods and immediately after breeding all the adults have to be removed. The eggs will be placed in small groups of from 3 to 5 eggs all over the walls of the tank.

You will probably also need to immediatley add some sort of anti fungal medication. The eggs get fungus really quickly and they will die. Also be prepared to raise up to 100 fry or more, judging from the eggs my cory lays.
