hey,
i have a male and female desert goby and i was wondering about thier aquarium breeding. do they protect their eggs and what should i feed the babies if my fish breed? right now it is weird becasue it seems like my male is kind of territorial towards my female so i dont think breeding will be in the near future for my fish.
thanks

Typical Goby breeding applies - they spawn in caves, male guards until they hatch. I never bother feeding mine anything special, but you can always try fry food, bbs, microworms and the like.

Is it possible your Gobies have already spawned and you just can't spot the eggs? That's when they'll generally show their territorial behavior.

my male is being territorial under two water sprite plants which is a pretty open area on the aquarium floor and it wouldn't fit in with typical goby breeding behavior

I used to spawn them in 4" lengths of 3/4" or 1" pvc pipe.
