lol, and here i thought my snails were trying to eat each other the first time they bred. that applesnail.com site is the best. and yes, the females do tend to be bigger, in the case of my 'shellkids', the ivory girls are three times the size of my lil green guy. And they are always, um... doing, um... that thing.... (i'm at work, i gotta be censored, hahahaha!)

once your baby snails start hatching from the clutch(es), be careful when doing water changes/gravel vacs, or you'll suck a lot of those lil shellkids up! And remember, apple snails make lots and lots of babies per clutch! this i know..... lol!
