breeding platties

when you see a black dot under the anal fin and when she gets really fat
 
well one of my platys are pregenet too and i think shes about to give birt shes way bigger than all the others and i can see the baby fishies eyes
 
are you looking thru the belly my fiance is getting realy exited and spends hours waiting for the plattys to drop have a few pregnate at moment and weve had guppie babies recently and lost most of them due to other mouths hanging about. so she wants to rescue them right away. and thanks again
 
if i was you and you want all of them to survive id move the pregenet fish to a breeders net if you got one so other fish wont eat the fry
 
yeah that would be ideal but dont have one. have all the pregnat fish in one ten gallon have a baby tank also that when we see one we put them in. also have a 55 gallon show tank and fixing to get another tank for breeding also have misc tanks throughout the house of various sizes. so have no choice and the only pet store in town is walmart so that should tell you what i have access to. thanks for the advice though
 
for how long have you seen the blk dot under the anal fin?
 
my lady is asking how do they act when they are going to give bith like hiding in the top plants or being still if you catch my meaning its my lady is the one asking but shes on baby watch.
 
i had 1 pregenet before and it gave birth to like 100 all it did was stay on a piece of rock until it gave birth............but for how long have you seen the black dot for?
