anybody successfully bred polleni?
are they hard to breed?

what are the requirements?
i have found male and female adult pollenis, i'm thinking if they can be bred, in a 5x2x2 tank and what are the requirements?

I do know that it has been done but it is very difficult to achieve because the chiclids of madagascar tend to eat their eggs in captivity as soon as they are layed.. I currently have a bleekeri that i'm trying to find a reliable buyer for.

check this out if you have not read up

I know this same site has an article just about polleni and bleekeri

be carefull buying bleekeri from LFS. It is a very very common mistake for LFS to get these two fish crossed as they pretty much similar as juveniles. Remember bleekeri is almost endangered in the wild so it's not an easy fish to come across in LFS. Other than that they're great hardy fish. If you end up with two males bleekeri are more temperament and will fight to the death(know from experience).
