Hello everyone, back again with another question...

At what age/size are ramshorns able to breed?

My girlfriend wants one for her tank, but she doesn't want them to take over, so I'd like to give her a single juvie so it won't have the chance to/can't breed and lay eggs all over the place.

So, the question remains... thanks guys.

Are you sure they're asexual?
I read one article that said they just remain fertilized for a very long time... as in - it takes two to tango... but do they mate as soon as they're hatched? Or what?

it does take two but they dont need a boy and a girl(from what i know but im no expert)

im not shure how big they need to be but they grow reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeely fast so its kinda pointless

and i personaly wuldent do ramshorns i only use them for fishfood and even then i get the colorful red ones, if theyr there to crawl around eat waste, algae and look pretty without breeding go for a nerite snail or 2 or 100,000 it dosent matter they dont breed in fresh water and they wont cost too much more than $3 a snail + they look alot nicer
