Cant find enough info on safari on breeding them. All i know is that when close to breeding, male sparkler will have much stronger colours and will be more aggressive. Mine is. Fortunately he is no that aggressive tho he is, am observe him in case i have to remove the lone female who i named RippedTail as she got ripped tail, dont know y i get her like that already. The female and male hide away in plants and rarely come out……the male will chase and nibble that female (she got bit ripped tail, did no have it yesterday) and every one of them flare out there finnage to each other, even the spare female.
Heard the male click twice today to! I turned the water flow from my sponge to extreme minimal and added salvinia hoping they spawn. Any tips to spawn them? Pretty much got the feels there no to far away... :)

The male will build a nest where he wants (usually floating plants, but mine has used leaf litter, under driftwood, and under crypt leaves.

Usually they like to spawn in warmer temperatures, so raise temps to 78-82F to encourage spawning. Lower the water surface as well, and keep a lid over top as they need the humidity to protect the fry's developing lungs.

However, the fry are miniscule and require live foods, theyre very fussy about first foods and stubborn about trying dry foods. Are too small for First Bites and such as well, so make sure you get a culture of microworms or vinegar eels if possible. Theyre too small to take baby brine shrimp right off the bat. Look up ways to make infusoria. They will require this for the first week or two.

The male will build the nest, the female will go over to where he chose the nest spot and if they are ready, they will lay a few eggs, the male will place them in the nest and then chase the female off. They repeat this for quite awhile.

The eggs hatch the next day, fry stay in the nest for another 1-2 days. By the time the fry leave the nest, it's best to remove the parents. The parents will eat their fry once they free swim.

Once they're free swimming, that is when you begin feeding them.

Water changes should be daily, and carefully to keep parameters stable and keep the fry growing well.

Thanks. Herd they like spawn under leafes in plant matter, he stay now in between of my elodea densa and hornwort, chase others away from that 1 spot.
I got nowhere to put the removed parents, my 125L is colwater and got nowhere to place my frys either tho could clean up plastic tote and put them there along with me mature sponge filter but got no work properly heater or thermostat. Could put the frys in tote on my snail tank that got heat mat with thermos but minimal temperatures for my fulicas is 20-25 C but heat will go up?
