I have a small exigon tank set up with a reverce flow subgravill filter the intake has a sponge filter on it. This tank is at present ocupied by a small cow fish he will be mooving to his new biger home in the next few days. I was thinking of keeping the small tank going and using as a breeding tank.
Can anyone surgest what might be a good project eg shrimps or small fish.

the tank is only about 4 gallon it s been running for about 8 months and is now verry stabel it has some live rock corel gravel direcley on filter plate coverd by a fine mesh and sand above. The effect of the reverse flow filter is that defrosted food mooves up from the botem of the tank and stays in motion

I dont think any SW fish could breed in that... prolly not even clown gobys...

I dont even know of any FW fish that would breed in it (not counting livebearers)

Sexy shrimp would be a good candidate for a tank of that size. There is some decent information on breeding them on the net, just do a search and you should find out what you need and if you would be interested in attempting to breed these guys.
