Ya, but the simple solution would be to swap off the single remaining male and keep an established pair from the new group. It's next to impossible to find someone willing to sell only females, particularly since in almost every spawn there are many more males than females.
Our locally owned LFS have them. They always try to have some on hand. Over on the Chiclid isle. No idea what strain but, she keeps them. They have been in bus 25yrs they bring in some unusual things that you just will never see in a big box pet store.
