Hi Friends,

I've read and have been told that Brichardis pair-off for life. I recently lost a Brichardi from the Dominant Pair that spawned a few days ago. Just wanted to know if the Brichardi from the pair, will pair again with some other Brichardi in the tank or will it remain alone for life ?

Kindly guide me...
Thanks and Regards

Hi there !

Thanks a lot for the kind reply. I hope it pairs-off again soon... Anyways, my Brichardis have grown well, but they're not breeding - I hope they do in future...

Anyways, also wanted to request for one more guidance -

A few days back, my fish (all fronts and brichs) stopped eating and were always hiding. I was alarmed that it might be bloat or something so I tried to dose the tank with the Human Drug Flagyl. I used about 4 Tablets of 400 Mg strength in my 200 liter tank (since they werent eating I couldnt add it to the feed)

The one that I lost had almost a big-bloated stomach, so I'm afraid that the disease might still be there in the tank. Now all my fish have started eating well, but they are'nt excreting. I afraid that I might lose more fish...

Is my dosing right ?
Now that they're eating, should I try to soak some freeze-dried brine shrimp in Flagyl Solution and feed them ?
Also I find that the white crystals of Flagyl arent dissolving well, is there any thing I can do to dissolve the medicine well ? Like using hot or boiling water to dissolve the medicine ?

Please guide me here - I dont want to lose more fish...
Kindly advice...
Thanks again !
Kush
