Briggs are sexual specific. You would need a male and a female to have fertile eggs. If you have just a female, she may still lay eggs, but nothing would come of them. Briggs lay eggs above the water line in clutches. They are easily removed so that you do not have a snail explosion. Just remove the clutch and freeze it before disposing in the trash.
