Brig is really deep in his shell and won't come out

James, keep a close eye on him. If he stops moving again, I find it's helpful to push gently on one side or the other of the trapdoor. Sometimes snails will suck back into their shells before dying and the seal around the door will trap the dead smell inside. If you can move the door a little it's easier to tell.

Sorry to say but that is what happened to my 'Big Blue' Briggs. He was in a tank with rcs, ramshorn and other briggs. He moved very little first 2 days, then nothing. Two days later I did the smell test and he was history. All others in the tank are fine and eating.

He died last night. All others are doing okay though. He was really active until about 3 days ago. Then he just stopped. The night before last, I did touch a piece of his skin that was showing behind the trap door and he retracted a little, but very sluggishly.

Thanks everyone for your assistance.

Thank you.
