I know this is gonna sound like a crazy question. I see all the pictures of the snails and they have nice bright shiny shells. I look in my tank and a few of mine have, well, dirty looking shells. Can you clean their little shells with anything? A soft toothbrush? Should I not worry about it? Are there snails that clean snail shells? I see the ghost shrimp hitching a ride on them from time to time but I don't think they're doing any cleaning while they are up there. I havnt found anything in my research pro or con so I'm putting it out here for the experts, or psudo-experts. Is there a reason they're getting a bit algae covered? I am such a newb lol. Thanks for the tips.
