I have some brine shrimp. The ones you add water to and they come alive. Are those suitable to put in a reef tank to create minute food for feeders who like live food in the water?

Can I just put some of them in the tank and let them come to life or should i put them in a different tank and then only put in active ones I can syphon out?

i would hatch them out in a different tank enrich them by feeding them good foods and just feed. they breed pretty slowly and anything added to the tank is pretty much one or two meals.

yeah. That should be fine to add them. But definatly hatch them in a seperate container. The cycles are undigestable and can actualy kill your fish or other creatures when they get stuck in the digestive tract. They are also likely to carry bacteria that could be harmful to your tank.
