How do i know if my bristle str is getting enough food? I know this sounds a little neurotic, but i just dont want him to die!!!

I actually have no idea, but thought this could use a bump.
I make sure mine gets chunks of food a few times a week, and it has been living and growing for a few years now.

yes, i also target feed my brittle star 2-3 times per week with a chunk of prawn, squid, or whatever i feel like feeding him. keep in mind that they are great scavengers and whatever food doesnt get eaten by the fish the star will most likely find. last year when i went on vaca the girl i had taking care of my tanks didnt feed my star fish for 2 weeks and when i came back he looked perfectly healthy and normal.
