I have a 'currently' non-mated pair, these fish are not directly related and have only been in the same tank for about 2 wks. the female I've had for a few months the male is new(2wks). Both are about 2-3/4", eating well, chubby, typically out and about once they've acclimated . An algae wafer dropped close to the front of the tank gets pounced upon very quickly. Obviously no garranties they'll hook up. I have them in a well planted 40g with 2 other pairs so it's probably too crowded for match making. The male has good early bristle development and I would expect them to get much longer and branch but I haven't seen either parent.

dang, I forgot the photo...essentially looks like my memeber photo, same number around the lip but the bristles are only 1/8" long, one or two show the beginings of branching.

cost = $15 for the pair

cash only and local pick up only

ehstd the loach looking fish in the foreground called

sold under the name, "dwarf banded loach" approx $8/ea . . . from what I've read they don't get much bigger than what you see in the photo (2-1/4" or so) . . . it's been a very enjoyable fish, I have two they frolic like a couple but I don't know if they are male/female or not.
