Bristlenose Pleco OK for 75 gal

I've got a male and female longfin albino bristlenose in my 60g tank, with several other fish, and they do well enough in the tank that they spit out babies every so often. I've never kept 2 males together, but I hear it's bad news bears.

If you are going to go with a single bristlenose pleco, you may want to look at a long finned instead of a regular short finned. They can be truly spectacular fish in my opinion.

definitely! But keep an eye on those fins. they're yummy to certain tankmates.

Agreed, I'm not sure where all these 6-12" Ancistrus species are coming from but they seem to be "popping up" a lot lately...

In most cases short rulers.

There are species of Ancistrus that get over 6". However in most cases people keeping them would be experienced enough to know what they have.
