How many albinos do you suggest in a 55g

I love those guys. I have 2 in my 55 gallon. They are both pretty large now, one's about 3 inches, one's 4 inches.

Depends. Are they for algae control in a community, do you want a species tank, or do you just want to know how many 5" catfish can fit into that volume?

just for algae control they will be going with my african cichlids!

1 or 2 would do the job nicely. They will quickly run out of algae and need supplemental food, however. I feed raw zuccini so the other fish don't interfere.

Depends on the store. I'd guess starting at about $15 and going up.

I got mine for $12, and I think thats pretty much the standard price for bristlenose plecos. also, no algae eating fish will always eat algae. each one is different. IMO if you're going to get fish, get them because you love the fish, not for a cold, unreliable purpose. you are the best algae cleaner your tank could ever have. remember that.

Are albinos more rare then regular bristlenose?
I don't know much about bristlenoses. I picked up an 3/4" dwarf albinos bristlenose for $4. Is that a good price? I needed to get a placo that didn't get so large so I would not have such a poop machine in my 46 bow front.
