Help! After buying a used 225 gallon aquarium with sump, making a stand, getting everything set up, I came home one day to find one of the overflows broken and water all over the place. The overflow broke along one of the sides, and I suspect there was already a crack. Anyone have any ideas about how to repair it so this doesn't happen again?

forgot to mention

it is a black plastic like the ones found in reef ready tanks (located on the inside of the tank) - this tank is converted from saltwater

You could try to get another piece of acrylic that is just as tall and wide as the side your overflow where its cracked and glue it so it will completely cover the crack and the rest of that side. Also, you can try to remove that side and put an identical piece in its place.
