in your house!!
well 1 of my bronze corydoras of late has become extremely fat! its twice the size of every other i have. shes rought 1 1/4 inches big while the others are all under 1 inch. is it possible shes getting ready to lay eggs? ill try for a pic but she is quite jitterly and my cam has a few seconds delay on it:swear:

Entirely possible. You could try conditioning with frozen foods and doing some large volume water changes to get her "in the mood"

i shall try msj! and could i use brine shrimp pellets in stead of frozen foods? i usually just feed them flakefoods with the odd brineshrimp pellet so i have a pile of those lyin around.

They like the water change to be a little cooler water. It works every time with mine.

now thats golden advice jackiomy!! i shall do a 50% WC 2morro instead of my weekly 25%WC. ill use colder water to and keep a very watchful eye on the little boogers incase i get fry then ill have to somehow save them

Not cold water! Just cooler. You will see mega activity and then eggs on the glass, plants, decorations and everywhere else possible. LOL

ahh ok cooler water gotcha! lets see how this turns out 2morro! also i tryed for a pic but my cam is dead and gonna take a while to charge:mad2:

this is how my bronze cory looks before she's ready to pop. I look for the beer gut/belly fat. They get so big sometimes it makes her sit funny on the ground. Goodluck! try to "splash" the water when you add it back into the tank. The reason for adding cooler water is to stimulate the raining season. So try that also.
