brown on rocks?

Not sure what just happen. I added in another 6 pound of live rock looks alittle like lava rock to me it has a redish look to it but since i added in this rock all of my other rocks have this brown color on also on the glass of the tank is something wrong or is this normal?

If it's a new tank, then the brown algae (diatoms) is completely normal, actually I haven't setup a single tank (I've put about 12 tanks up over the years), freshwater or saltwater where i didn't grow diatoms after the initial cycle.

If it's an established tank, it's possible that the rock could have added silicates to the water, wich is what diatoms feed on.
 
What are your water parameters? Do you have any recent results?
 
looks cyano bacterial to me. if it was on the sand i'd say you need more flow, but it's on the rock and next to what seems like some pretty healthy corals, so it's not that. i've been having trouble with that too.
