A few weeks ago I noticed some brown spots on my two clownfish. It wasn't gradual. One night I went to sleep and they looked fine, next day I work up and they had brown spots on parts of their bodies. It's been two weeks and the spots have not spread or decreased. One clown has more spots than the other. They both eat and look completely healthy. I can't find any type of disease this could be. They are also the only two fish in my 60 gallon reef tank. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help.

One thing that will cause dark blotches on clowns is snuggling with zoanthids. It made me very nervous when I first saw it on mine.
They seem to stay as long as the clowns keep playing in the zoas. Doesn't seem to cause problem, though.
