Anyone know what the red tint is across the emperor snapper. It is extremely dark in the morning?

Maybe scale wounds from straching?

How old is it? They do lose their juvenile pattern and become an overall reddish/pinkish colour. Maybe that's what is happening.

I have marked the area's that concern me on the fish..is that a wound, the semi-circular marking??
