Hey guys,
I bought a couple of plants a month ago and they seemed to be doing quite well in my 17 gallon aquarium, which has pretty good ammonia, nitrate, and nitrites. However, the light bulb blew out and was too weak. Therefore, I bought a new (quite expensive) double bulb that has a total of 35 watts with full spectrum. About 1-2 weeks later, my plants started to brown and have some holes in them. I am not sure if this is because of the light, although I expected the plants to really thrive from their new strong light. Could it be something else? i do not have fertilizer or CO2, but I am not looking to have perfect plants that grow quickly either...
