Just added 2 new tanks (60 and 120 gallon) to join the 180 and 20 gallon I already had.

nice site... I did find one thing odd, you listed the bleeding heart tetras as x-tra large but the oscar( which is way bigger as small)
an actuall measurement or an aproximation of that would be not as confusing

Good point! That Bleeding heart is about 8" now!!!

I listed them in relation to their own species. So the Bleeding Hearts are huge for Bleeding Hearts but small compared to just about anything else.

I like your suggestion and will do just that. So, these days do people count the tail or not when measuring? In the old days we never did, but a lot has changed since then. We even have internet now!!

you could measure them the way you are used to and just make a note some where on the page as to what you are measureing.

I honestly don't know which is done more now cause some measure one way and some another
