In the next two weeks I will be aquiring some snowball shrimp. The tank I am prepping for them currently has an air driven bubble disk type airstone set to gently bubble, along with a sponge filter. As the bubble disk is on the substrate of the tank it would be possible for a shrimp to catch a bubble. Can this hurt the shrimp?

Just checking to see if the bubble disk will be ok, or should I use a plain airstone instead.

Many thanks msjinkzd. The question might seem silly, but I seem to remember from my Daphnia raising days that the literature spoke of air embolisms from airstones.
Just wanted to make sure that Snowballs and company werent vulnerable to the same issues the Daphnia have.
