I have a 200w Visi-Therm Stealth heater in my 29g. Overkill, I know, but I'd like to be able to move it to a larger tank down the road if I choose to upgrade. I've noticed that it collects bubbles on the bottom half. On a black heater, these really stand out, especially against my black background. Is this just the nature of the beast or is there something I can do about this?

I've had it happen to just about every heater I've used....its always gone away on its own after some time.

I'm not sure how long it took mine to stop, it could have been longer than a week.

Is the heater next to the filter outflow or possibly an airstone? Just trying to think of all possible causes.

It's over on the right of the tank. I knocked the bubbles off the heater before taking the picture, however:
