Bubbles per second. Larger tanks

I would start low, then add more till you get correct level. How do you measure??

i am counting how many bubbles there are in ten seconds then just divide that number by ten.

i started 2 days ago. now i believe i am at 6-7 per second

125 gallon tank
kh 6
ph 8.2

ive got the ph to somewhere around 6.8 to 7.0 now

should i be seeing tiny bubbles comming out from my spray nozzles?

my co2 reactor is around 24" tall 2" diameter. its based off the rexgrigg setup.

also im using a maxi-jet 1200 to power it all. ive got a pretty good flow from the 2 spray nozzles. thinking about making my co2 reactor a little taller to give the co2 a little more time to mix with the water

I run about 2 bubbles per second on my 60 to a ceramic diffusor under my intake.

where is the bubble counter? do you have anything in the tank that can effect the ph like coral? might want to get a drop checker.

well yesterday, i added about 12" to the reactor and i threw in about 20 of the 1.5" blue bio-balls. it seems to be working better with less bubbles per second. i think i had too much flow with the maxi-jet 1200 and it wasnt giving the co2 enough time to mix.

yes i also have a drop checker, and there are no buffers in the tank. no crushed coral, peat moss, etc....
