another update

We now have decorative pebbles around the pond and rendered onto the edge of the pond

What do you think about flat rocks around the edge on top of the pebbles or should it stay how it is

you mean like pieces of slate? omg nice job, i wish i built my ponds like that :duh: i think the black slate around the edges would give it a nice touch, oh and if you're still deciding on fish to put in there once it's finished, go with butterfly koi, very beautiful fish, or those platinum or gold ogon koi! :thm: :thm: :thm:

This is very, very nice. I'm anxious to see it filled.
I like the look of the pebbles right up to the edge. Am I understanding that they are mortared to the rim in some way??
I would think it would be difficult to put slate around the edge now with the pebbles already there. Would you be mortaring it down too? I think you would end up with some of it in the pond if you didn't. I had some loose around a small pond that I had and the pieces were always getting knocked into the pond. Keep us updated with pics!
